AUTOMATIC CONFIGURATION

Configure All Browsers and Email Clients
Download the two files below, and run the SetAll.exe file. It is important that both files are placed in the same directory in your hard drive. This program will create Surf Shop Dial-up Networking and configure all browsers and email clients installed in your computer (Netscape Navigator v.3 and higher, Internet Explorer v. 3 and higher, Outlook Express, Internet Mail, and Netscape Messenger).

Configure Netscape Navigator only
Download the two files below, and run the SetNet.exe file. It is important that both files are placed in the same directory in your hard drive. This program will create Surf Shop Dial-up Networking and configure all Netscape browsers installed in you computer (including Netscape Messenger).

  2. SetNet.oid (1 KB)

Configure Internet Explorer/Mail and Outlook Express only
Download the two files below, and run the SetIE.exe file. It is important that both files are placed in the same directory in your hard drive. This program will create Surf Shop Dial-up Networking and configure Internet Explorer browsers installed in you computer (including Outlook Express and Internet Mail).

Create Dial-Up Networking only
Download the two files below, and run the SetDUN.exe file. It is important that both files are placed in the same directory in your hard drive. This program will only create Surf Shop Dial-up Networking in you computer. You will have to manually configure your browsers and email programs.

AUTOMATIC PROXY CONFIGURATION

To automatically configure your browser's proxy settings:
- for Internet Explorer 5
- for Internet Explorer 4
- for Netscape Navigator 4.x

INTERNET BROWSER SECURITY CERTIFICATE

Install Surf Shop's Security Certificate

• Click the file below, ca.crt file.
  
• Select 'Open this file from its current location', then click Ok. This will open a window "Certificate".
  
• Click on 'Install Certificate' (The "Certificate Import Wizard" will appear)
  
• Click on 'Next'
  
• Select 'Place all certificates in the following store'.
  
• Click on 'Browse', (This will open the "Select Certificate Store" window) select 'Trusted Root Certification Authorities',
  
• Click 'Ok'
  
• Click Next
  
• Click on 'Finish'
  
• When the "Root Certificate Store" windows appears, click on 'Yes' (a window should then appear saying 'import was succesful')
  
• Click on 'Ok' (to close "Cerificate" window)
